Ron Wickings, Tom Boss, Terry Smart, Larry Moore, and Jim Southall stocked our trout pond with about 350 rainbow and brook trout averaging between 14" and 20".  These will be ready for the season opener on April 1st. Our trout rearing and stocking program continues well.  We have a nice batch of rainbows hatched last fall, and some golden and brook trout that hatched over the winter.  This bodes well for the members who like to fish.  Next year we will have literally thousands of trout to stock in this same size range.  As a reminder, there is a fly fishing seminar on Saturday, March 26th beginning at 9 in the clubhouse.  It covers all aspects of fly fishing including information about our trout rearing program, fly fishing tackle, techniques, and tips.
